Mecaer Aviation Group to Supply Landing Gear for Urban Air Mobility Leader, Archer Aviation

(NYSE: ACHR), a leader in electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, have entered into an agreement for the design, development, qualification, and supply of landing gear for Archer’s piloted-plus-four-passenger eVTOL aircraft, Midnight. Delivery of the first two H135s to the Spanish Ministry of Interior

Albacete, 28 October 2022 - Airbus has delivered the first two H135s to the Spanish Guardia Civil and National Police under the 36-unit contract signed with the General Directorate for Armaments and Materiel (DGAM) at the end of 2021 to supply the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Interior. The Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, and Bruno Even, CEO of Airbus Helicopters, along with Fernando Lombo, Managing Director of Airbus Helicopters in Spain, were present at the handover ceremony that took place at the Airbus plant in Albacete.

Italy’s Carabinieri to introduce new mission capabilities with new AW119Kx helicopters

Leonardo has announced today the signing of a contract by Italy’s Carabinieri for the supply of 20 AW119Kx single engine helicopters for its Air Service. The aircraft will be assembled at Leonardo’s Vergiate facility (Varese) with deliveries expected in the 2023-2026 period. The contract also includes a comprehensive turnkey logistics support package and training services for pilots and maintenance technicians.
