Reiser Simulation and Training GmbH (REISER) today confirmed that its H145 D3 XR Simulator has successfully received full qualification by the German Federal Aviation Office (Luftfahrt-Bundesamt, LBA) under European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) standards. The mixed-reality simulator, which attracted strong industry interest when it was presented with pre-qualification status at European Rotors 2025, has now been certified as a Flight Training Device Level 3 (FTD-3). The final evaluation was conducted last week at REISER’s facility, where LBA officials confirmed compliance with all requirements with zero findings.

On February 4, 2026, at 2216 mountain standard time, a Bell 407 helicopter, N56AZ, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Flagstaff, Arizona. The pilot and tactical flight officer (TFO) were fatally injured. The helicopter was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 public use flight.
