European Rotors – Cologne, Germany (17 Nov. 2025) – Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced today the Bell 525 Flight Simulation training device at the Bell Training Academy received its Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) Flight Simulation Interim Level C Training Device qualification. The Flight Simulation training device was designed and manufactured by Bell affiliate TRU Simulation + Training Inc., a Textron Inc. company. This new milestone will allow Bell pilots to earn flight hours on the Bell 525 platform ahead of type certification.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Joby Aviation, Inc. (NYSE:JOBY), a company developing electric air taxis for commercial passenger service, today announced the next three vertiports to be added to Dubai's electric air taxi network, alongside Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority (RTA) and Skyports Infrastructure, who will be responsible for building the vertiports. The sites, at the American University of Dubai, Atlantis the Royal and the Dubai Mall, will enable Joby to deliver high-speed, emissions-free connections between some of Dubai’s most high-profile destinations, as part of its six-year exclusive agreement with the RTA to establish air taxi services in the Emirate.

On October 21, 2025, about 1108 central daylight time, a Robinson Helicopter Company (RHC) R22 Beta II helicopter, N74583, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident near Springfield, Missouri. The flight instructor and the pilot receiving instruction both sustained serious injuries. The helicopter was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 instructional flight.

The pilot reported that he was transitioning the helicopter into a 4 ft hover when he encountered a wind gust. The pilot stated that he overreacted with too much right pedal and the helicopter rotated right, the left skid impacted the ground, which resulted in a dynamic rollover and impact with terrain. The helicopter sustained substantial damage to the fuselage and tailboom.
