Dallas, U.S., 11 March 2025 – Offshore helicopter operator PHI Aviation began commercial operations off the Louisiana Coast on 6 March, 2025 for international energy company Shell plc with one H160, capping off a successful route-proving partnership. The helicopter is the first from the worldwide H160 fleet to conduct offshore commercial transportation missions.

Tokyo, Japan – The National Police Agency (NPA) of Japan has taken delivery of two Airbus H160 helicopters, making it the first para-public operator of the type in Japan. The first H160 was delivered at the end of last year, with the second delivery in January.
