Rome, 22 July 2024 – Leading helicopter service provider Falcon Aviation announced today a further reinforcement of its long-term partnership with Leonardo through the introduction of the AW139 intermediate twin engine helicopter into its fleet supporting the Energy industry. Falcon Aviation has signed a contract during an official ceremony at the Farnborough International Airshow for one aircraft plus one option.

Farnborough Airshow (July 22, 2024) - Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced EnB AIR Co., Ltd.’s has signed an agreement for the purchase of a Bell 505 helicopter in South Korea. This marks the first Bell 505 helicopter sale to a commercial entity in South Korea, following the Republic of Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration selecting the Bell 505 as the new military helicopter trainer in 2022.

On July 21, 2023, about 1105 eastern daylight time, a Bell 206B, N9913K, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Terra Alta, West Virginia. The pilot and a crewmember sustained serious injuries. The helicopter was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 aerial observation flight.
