NTSB Final Report: Borrego Springs, CA

On April 30, 2018, about 1330 Pacific daylight time, a Robinson Helicopter Company (RHC) R44 II, N423ML, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Borrego Springs, California. One passenger received minor injuries, and the pilot and two passengers were not injured. The helicopter was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 business flight.

Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust introduces another AW169 helicopter to its fleet

Farnborough, 18/07/2022 – Leonardo is pleased to announce that the UK charity Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust (EHAAT) will be introducing its second AW169 helicopter for its Emergency Medical Services (EMS) operations. The agreement between Specialist Aviation Services and EHAAT, which was signed at the Farnborough International Airshow, includes a bespoke medical interior, in addition to other modifications to be provided by SAS.

U.S. Helicopters has selected the Becker Avionics AMU 6500 Digital intercom system for the avionics upgrade of their AS350 Helicopters. These aircraft are employed in various mission profiles to include ENG and VIP configurations. U.S. Helicopters approached Turbolyft Aerospace for guidance on their unique avionics’ requirements and Turbolyft's Avionics Manager, Chris Shibaoka, knew from previous experience with Becker, that the AMU6500 could meet and exceed U.S. Helicopters' needs.
