Cirrus announces 2026 SR Series G7+ Aircraft

Cirrus announced on Tuesday its 2026 SR Series G7+ aircraft for the SR20, SR22 and SR22T. The 2026 SR Series G7+ introduces new refinements and updated design collections and colors. Cirrus states the new features will enhance aircraft ownership and flying experience for the aircraft series, such as a new 4-blade composite propeller upgrade for the SR22.The 2026 models have improved connectivity to Cirrus Global Connect and higher-power USB-C ports. Cirrus Global Connect is a fully integrated global weather and communication solution that will now provide automatic weather updates every five minutes along the flight route. It will now provide a wider range of products, including storm cell movement, turbulence, icing and surface visibility. The upgraded USB-C ports are configured with two 60W USB-C ports in the front cabin and two 100W USB-C ports in the rear. Cirrus also stated that it will continue to invest in updating its Perspective Touch+ avionics to reduce workload and increase situational awareness. Recent updates allow pilots to select various traffic pattern entries shown on the moving map. These features are available on compatible SR Series G7 and G7+ aircraft.
