Lockheed Martin Sikorsky Receives Five-Year Contract to Build Up to 99 CH-53K® Heavy Lift Helicopters for the U.S. Marine Corps

STRATFORD, Conn., Sept. 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company (NYSE: LMT), received a $10.855 billion contract from the U.S. Navy to build up to a maximum of 99 CH-53K® King Stallion® helicopters for the U.S. Marine Corps over five years, the largest-quantity order to date for the aircraft. The award will ensure consistent deliveries of the United States' most powerful heavy-lift helicopter between 2029 and 2034 and reinforce the U.S. industrial base by sustaining thousands of production roles at Sikorsky and across its nationwide supply chain.

Ras Al Khaimah, UAE , Santa Cruz, CA, & London – September 29, 2025 –The Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (“RAKTA”), Joby Aviation, Inc. (NYSE: JOBY), a company developing electric air taxis for commercial passenger service, and Skyports Infrastructure (“Skyports”) today announced a long-term collaboration to launch a passenger air taxi service network in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah (“RAK”) by 2027. VAI Applauds FAA Policy Enabling OSHA-Approved Harnesses for Human External Cargo

(Sep. 26, 2025) – Vertical Aviation International (VAI) welcomes the recently implemented FAA policy on fall-protection harnesses used by utility line workers when performing human external cargo (HEC) activities. The policy expands operator options to include US government–accepted harnesses that meet standards recognized by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and accepted by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
