Spanish government awards Avincis the contract for maritime aerial search and rescue services for another five years

Madrid, 9 September 2024 – Avincis has been awarded a further five-year contract by the public entity responsible for maritime search and rescue services in Spain, the Maritime Safety and Rescue Society (SASEMAR), valued at €305 million. This contract solidifies Avincis’s position in providing search and rescue (SAR) services in a region where it has delivered uninterrupted SAR support for the past 30 years.

Rome, 4 September 2024 –Leonardo and Petroleum Air Services of Egypt are further reinforcing their fruitful collaboration in the helicopter services field. With a fleet of eight AW139 light intermediate twin engine helicopters used for passenger and offshore transport supporting the energy industry in the country, Petroleum Air Services is Recognised Service Centre for Leonardo’s commercial helicopter products. Petroleum Air Services has now become an Authorised Service Centre, obtaining a higher rank in technical support which will allow the addition of more services, greater spare parts management, and further solutions to the benefit of third party customers and users. By doing so, this partnership will reinforce the level and quality of service in the area.
