United States Navy And Lockheed Martin Successfully Test Key Capabilities Of Advanced Off-Board Electronic Warfare System

BETHESDA, Md. – Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) supported a successful government test of the Advanced Off-Board Electronic Warfare (AOEW) system’s electronic attack capabilities while installed on a U.S. Navy MH-60R helicopter. This marked the first time in the program’s development the system was able to perform engagement testing, demonstrate the ability to deter threats, and quantify system performance, while integrated and controlled by the target platform.

LEONARDO CELEBRATES 700TH HELICOPTER DELIVERY FROM US PRODUCTION LINE

Philadelphia, 14 December 2023 – In November, the 700th American-made helicopter was delivered from Leonardo ‘s production line in Philadelphia, representing an enormous milestone achievement in the United States that speaks to the technical maturity of its industrial operations in the U.S. The actual 700th aircraft, an AW119Kx single engine, was delivered to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS).

Airbus Helicopters and German Armed Forces sign largest H145M contract

Donauwörth – The German Bundeswehr and Airbus Helicopters have signed a contract for the purchase of up to 82 multi-role H145M helicopters (62 firm orders plus 20 options). This is the largest order ever placed for the H145M and consequently the largest for the HForce weapon management system. The contract also includes seven years of support and services, ensuring optimal entry into service. The German Army will receive fifty-seven helicopters, while the Luftwaffe's special forces will receive five.
