Today, Switlik Survival Products celebrates 106 years of innovation, craftsmanship, and commitment to saving lives.
Since our founding in Trenton, New Jersey, in 1920, Switlik has grown from a small family business into a trusted name in aviation, marine, military, and first-responder survival equipment. Through changing industries, advancing technologies, and countless challenges, one thing has remained constant: our people.
The story of Switlik is not just a story about products. It is a story about the employees who come through our doors each day ready to make a difference. Some have spent decades of their own lives alongside this company, helping shape the culture, expertise, and dedication that define Switlik today. Their knowledge, hard work, and pride in what they do continue to drive us forward.
This year has been especially meaningful as we were recently honored with the NJMEP Made in New Jersey Manufacturing Day Innovator of the Year Award. While recognition like this is appreciated, it is ultimately a reflection of the people who make Switlik what it is. Their dedication to innovation and excellence continues a tradition that began more than a century ago.
To reach 106 years, a company needs more than products and processes. It needs relationships, trust, and a shared sense of purpose. We are grateful to the employees, customers, partners, dealers, and supporters who have been part of the Switlik story through the years.
As we celebrate this milestone, we also look ahead. We remain committed to advancing survival technology, supporting those who rely on our products, and carrying forward the values that have guided us since the beginning.
Thank you for being part of our journey.
Here's to 106 years of innovation, resilience, and protecting lives. And here's to the future.
Cheers to 106!
