This achievement marks a defining moment in the company’s history and reflects steady, global demand for the R44 globally.
The R44 is known for its simple design, low operating cost and reliable performance. Pilots and small businesses fly it for training, tours, farm work, news coverage and personal travel. It has become one of the most common helicopters in the sky today.

Robinson certified the R44 in 1990 and delivered the first R44 in 1993.
