Ft. Lauderdale, July 2026 – A Florida Law Enforcement Agency has selected Lifeseeker SAR XL S10 from CENTUM to support airborne search and rescue operations across its aviation fleet in the state of Florida and other supporting states.
The project will be carried out in collaboration with Southeast Aerospace (SEA), which will serve as the integration partner for the program. SEA will support the integration of Lifeseeker across the planned aircraft platforms, bringing its experience in special mission aircraft modifications and avionics integration to the project.
The initial scope includes modifying two (2) of the agencies aircraft with the system installed on to them. These installations will be configured to incorporate Lifeseeker into the aircraft’s existing special mission systems, providing operators with access to the system.
The systems will support public safety missions, helping aircrews locate missing persons through their cell phones, even in areas without network coverage.
“For the last 10 years SEA has been fortunate to service the state of Florida by modifying over 15 aircraft operated by the state” said Nathan Hernandez, BD Manager at SEA. “Being able to bring the Lifeseeker system into the capability of our great agencies has brought a new and great tool to the state of Florida.”
“This project reflects the growing adoption of Lifeseeker among public safety aviation operators across the United States,” said Héctor Estévez, CEO at CENTUM. “Working alongside Southeast Aerospace represents another important step in expanding these capabilities to organizations responsible for protecting and assisting their communities.”
The program is currently progressing through the integration phase, with deliveries expected later this year.
The announcement is being made in the framework of APSCON 2026 where CENTUM will be exhibiting at booth 331 and Southeast Aerospace at booth 117.
