Coptersafety has announced the substantial expansion of their training services with the establishmentof a new state-of-the-arttrainingcenter in Oslo, Norway. The new center is set to open in 2028.

Our Helsinki headquarters and training center will be at maximum simulator capacity in the next two years, yet the need for pilot training in Europe and globallyis onlyincreasing.Coptersafety’snew facilityin Oslo will provide operatorsa choice in location, alongside our Helsinkiheadquartersand trainingcenter, and new simulatoraircraftplatforms.”Shared Coptersafety’sCEO Hannu Marjoniemi.
The purpose-builttrainingcenter will provide additionalcapacityto meet the increasing demands for pilot trainingas fleetsgrow both in Europe and globallyin operationssuch as HEMS, SAR, and offshore.
It will house a fleet of Level D full flight simulators, and training devices, starting with a Level D H135/H145full flightsimulator.The remainingfleet will be announcedat a later stage.
The Oslo facility will follow the same training approach as the Helsinki center, from ground to flight training,to continueproviding the high-qualitytrainingthatCoptersafetyis known for. The design will mirror Coptersafety’s Helsinki headquarters in both efficiency, comfort, and services, with proximity to Oslo Gardermoen Airport.
The new center is set to open in 2028,with more detailsand specificdates to be announcedlater.
