Adventure Pilot Expands iFly EFB into Dispatch Training with New “Dispatch Mode”Aligned to FAA Standards

McKinney, TX —April 28, 2026—Adventure Pilot, creators of the iFly EFB aviation navigation suite, announced today the launch of a new Dispatch Mode, a specialized version of iFly EFB developed for flight dispatch and operations training programs.

Dispatch Mode is now available to aviation training institutions, providing a proven electronic training tool designed for dispatcher education and operational coursework within FAA-approved programs.

Purpose-Built for Dispatch Training

Dispatch Mode provides the same trusted foundation as iFly EFB, while adapting key elements to align with FAA Part 65 Dispatch curriculum requirements. Some automated EFB features have been intentionally disabled to encourage manual flight planning and calculation

skills—essential competencies for students pursuing FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certification.

Features and Capabilities

Authentic Flight Planning Experience: Core EFB automation is selectively limited, requiring students to manually perform nav log calculations, fuel planning, and time en route computations.

Full IFR Resource Suite: Includes IFR Plates, Low Enroute charts, extensive navaid and fix database, and aircraft performance profiles to support realistic dispatch scenarios.

Integrated Training Tools: Enables instructors to simulate real-world dispatch environments with current aviation data and practical planning exercises.

Training Application: Recognized for use as an electronic tool within FAA-approved dispatcher training programs.

Proven in Academia: Successfully deployed within accredited aviation dispatch training environments, supporting realistic, data-driven IFR flight planning and classroom instruction.

“Our goal is to provide dispatch students with the same professional-grade environment they’ll encounter in the field—without removing the discipline of learning the calculations behind it,”said Juanita Boyd, VP of Operations at Adventure Pilot. “Dispatch Mode bridges the gap between classroom theory and operational practice.”

Availability

iFly EFB Dispatch Mode is available now for institutional licensing and integration into approved training programs. Schools and training centers can contact Adventure Pilot to discuss deployment and customization options.
