GPMS International has successfully delivered the first of two Foresight MX HUMS for Entergy’s two Bell 429 helicopters, strengthening the utility provider’s commitment to operational safety, efficiency, and predictive maintenance.
“We’re proud to support Entergy with a smarter, more proactive approach to maintenance and fleet management,” said John Byus, director of sales at GPMS. “By equipping their Bell 429s with our HUMS, Entergy gains access to real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and remote diagnostic capabilities—helping them maximize uptime, enhance safety, and optimize maintenance planning.”
Byus added, “Our HUMS is certified on some of the most widely used aircraft in the utility and energy sectors, including the Bell 407, Bell 429, H125, UH-60, and soon, the CH-47D. We’re proud to support leading operators like the Tennessee Valley Authority, Bonneville Power Administration, Western Area Power Administration, and Pacific Gas & Electric as they conduct essential power line inspections, infrastructure maintenance, and rapid storm response.
The first Entergy installation was completed by Arrow Aviation, a new member of the GPMS Certified Installer Network. The second installation will take place at Bell Piney Flats, another GPMS Certified Installer.
