Delaware State Police Department Honors 100-Year Anniversary with Bell 429 Purchase Agreement

HELIJET PLACES ORDER WITH BETA TECHNOLOGIES FOR FIRST PASSENGER SERVICE eVTOL AIRCRAFT IN CANADA

(October 31, 2023) – Helijet International Inc., North America’s largest and longest-standing helicopter airline, today announced plans to become the first Canadian air carrier to provide passenger and cargo services using electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft after placing firm orders for ALIA eVTOL aircraft from BETA Technologies.  Helijet President and CEO Danny Sitnam and BETA Sales Director Skye Carapetyan made the announcement with British Columbia Premier David Eby at Helijet’s Victoria Harbour Heliport.

Life Flight Network Grows Air Ambulance Fleet

Fort Worth, TX (Oct. 31, 2023) – Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, announced today that Life Flight Network, the largest not-for-profit air medical program in the country, has added two additional Bell 407GXi helicopters and plans to accept delivery of an additional Bell 429 in December. With 22 Bell aircraft, Life Flight Network is the largest air medical operator of Bell helicopters in the Pacific Northwest and Intermountain West.

Naval unmanned aerial system tested at sea from a French Navy frigate

Marignane, 31  October 2023 – Airbus Helicopters and Naval Group, in collaboration with the French Armament General Directorate, DGA (Direction génerale de l’armement), and the French Navy, have tested the SDAM demonstrator (Système de Drone Aérien Marine/ Naval Aerial Drone System) from a multi-mission frigate (FREMM). The trials took place on board the French Navy frigate, Provence in the Mediterranean Sea between the 2nd and the 9th of October. The vessel had previously been adapted by Naval Group to operate the SDAM. These sea trials were arranged to demonstrate the system’s high performance from an operational warship and the SDAM’s capabilities for surveillance and intelligence missions.
