On March 3, U.S. Air Force reached a positive Milestone C decision, which commences the start to low-rate initial production for the MH-139 “Grey Wolf”. Subsequently, Boeing and Leonardo have announced a contract for delivery of the first thirteen (13) aircraft. The initiation of low-rate production will yield the first operational aircraft set to replace the U.S. Air Force’s current fleet of UH-1N “Huey” helicopters, with first delivery slated for 2024.

McMinnville, Oregon - September 14th, 2023 - Phenix Solutions is proud to announce the award of a United States Air Force Phase II contract for digital engineering to support Military Airworthiness Certification. The Air Force Research Laboratory's (AFRL) Autonomous Systems Technology Office (AST) is focused on accelerating the development and deployment of a transformative vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. To complete these goals, Phenix will create a digital twin of their Ultra 2XL Heavy Lift UAS aircraft. This digital twin tool will allow Phenix to create trustworthy data in digital testing, modeling, and analysis which further broadens the application of the Ultra 2X aircraft.
