STRATFORD, Conn., Nov. 14, 2024 – Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company (NYSE: LMT), announced that it is increasing the scheduled inspection intervals for S-92® helicopters from 375 flight hours to 500 hours, and from 750 flight hours to 1,000 hours. By increasing these intervals, average S-92 operators will be able to safely keep aircraft in service longer between inspections, mitigating downtime and maximizing availability for the fleet.

STRATFORD, Conn., Oct. 29, 2024 –The U.S. Government has awarded Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company (NYSE: LMT), a Foreign Military Sale contract to provide 35 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters to Greece. The deal includes 35 aircraft for the Hellenic Army as well as personnel training, training equipment and an initial provisioning package, which will significantly improve self-defense and bolster interoperability within the nation and with NATO allies.

By leveraging the Health and Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS) data collected from Sikorsky’s unmatched S-92 fleet - representing more than 300 aircraft and 2.3 million fleet flight hours - the company developed a methodology to more accurately determine the life-limit for parts and help alleviate supply chain issues affecting the industry.
