Dallas, Texas (March 11, 2025) - Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced today at VAI Verticon 2025 that Air Methods has signed a Master Purchasing Agreement for up to 27 aircraft, including fifteen IFR-configured Bell 407GXis with an option to purchase an additional twelve aircraft in the future. This agreement comes on the heels of Air Methods’ recent signed purchase agreement for a Bell 429.

To celebrate this milestone, Mercy Air 2, 22, 66, and H285 (based in Victorville, Hesperia, Barstow, and Big Bear) invited first responders, partners, and requestors to join them in commemorating this achievement at the Apple Valley Airport on Dec. 14. Among those attending the celebration was former pediatric patient Luke Haas and his family, who reunited with the air medical team that helped save his life more than two years ago.

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ, Dec. 9, 2024 – Patients in central Arizona can now receive emergency air medical care faster thanks to Native Air 4 and 14 in Prescott and Prescott Valley recently obtaining first responder status. This designation allows the pilot to identify a safe place to land the helicopter and enables the medical crew to begin patient care immediately upon arriving. Before receiving this designation, the air medical crew had to remain in the air until first responders on the ground secured a landing zone.
