Whirly-Girls International, a non-profit, educational, and charitable organization dedicated to advancing women in the helicopter aviation industry, has announced the recipients of the 2025 Whirly-Girls Scholarship Awards. The scholarships will be awarded at the Whirly-Girls Annual Gala during VERTICON in Dallas, Texas. The largest scholarship program in the helicopter industry is made possible with the support of aviation leaders and 46 scholarships were presented to deserving female aviators and maintainers.

LISBOA, Portugal – June 5th, 2025: Avincis has today taken delivery of two five-bladed H145 helicopters from Airbus at its production facility in Donauwörth, Germany. These aircraft are destined for Stockholm, where they will reinforce Avincis’ existing Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) fleet operating in Sweden. These latest additions mark a continuation of Avincis’ investment in advanced, mission-ready aircraft across its global network.
