U.S. Senate approves Daniel Edwards for DOT and Michael Graham for additional NTSB term

The U.S. Senate has approved Daniel Edwards as the DOT's assistant secretary for aviation and international affairs and also approved another five-year term on the NTSB for Michael Graham. Daniel Edwards served over 23 years in the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Reserve as a KC-10 pilot and airfield civil engineer. He has flown over 4,000 hours as both a military and commercial pilot and holds type ratings in the DC-10 and 757/767. He has been serving as the DOT's principal deputy assistant secretary for aviation and international affairs and was previously the CEO of a private MRO business. Edwards also serves as the FAA Associate Administrator for Airports and the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Aviation and International Affairs. Michael Graham joined the NTSB in 2020. Graham served in the U.S. Navy flying A-7 and F/A-18 aircraft. He was an F/A-18 aircrew instructor and avionics integration engineer for McDonnell Douglas and Boeing, then worked for over 20 years as Textron Aviation's director of flight operations safety, security and standardization and as a member of NBAA's Safety Committee. Graham is also a certified airline transport pilot with 10,000 flight hours and is type rated in six different Citation models.
