Embraer announced on Monday its deliveries and backlog for the first quarter of 2026 (1Q26).
The company states that it delivered 44 aircraft across all it business units, which is a 47% increase compared to the 30 aircraft delivered in the first quarter of 2025 (1Q25). The deliveries corresponded to approximately 16% of the midpoint (248 aircraft) of the company's full-year delivery guidance. Embraer plans to deliver between 240 and 255 aircraft in 2026. It also reports that its backlog reached $32.1 billion in 1Q26, which is its sixth consecutive all-time high.
In its executive aviation segment, 29 aircraft were delivered in 1Q25, a 26% increase compared to 1Q25. The deliveries are six percentage points ahead of the 12% average for first quarters over the last five years. 16 small aircraft and 13 medium aircraft were delivered in the category. Embraer states its backlog for executive aviation is $7.6 billion. During 1Q26, the company introduced the Praetor 600E and Praetor 500E and the Phenom 300 was recognized as the world's most delivered light jet for the 14th year and most delivered twin-jet for the 6th.
The commercial aviation segment reported a backlog of $15 billion, which is 50% higher than its backlog in 1Q25 and 3% higher then 4Q25. Embraer explained that Finnair placed an order for up to 46 E195-E2 aircraft, resulting in 18 aircraft being placed in its backlog during the quarter. Additionally, three E195-E2 aircraft were sold to an undisclosed customer. A total of 10 business aircraft were delivered in 1Q26, 3 more than the amount delivered in 1Q25. The backlog in Embraer's defense and security segment reached $4.4 billion in 1Q26. It delivered 5 aircraft in total, one less than the amount delivered in 4Q25. It only delivered four A-29 Super Tucanos and one KC-390 Millennium. The Millennium and one Super Tucano were for the Portuguese Air Force, two A-29 Super Tucano aircraft were delivered to the Uruguayan Air Force and one A-29 Super Tucano was taken to an undisclosed customer in Africa. Embraer currently has 32 firm orders for the Millennium and 27 for the Super Tucano.
Outside of aircraft segments, Embraer's services and support backlog reached a high of $5.1 billion in 1Q26.
