Textron Aviation has announced that the Gogo 5G connectivity upgrade is now available to Cessna Citation business jets.
The company states the upgrade gives Citation operators faster speeds, lower latency and improved Wifi performance in the cabin. The Gogo 5G system is designed specifically for business aviation and supports multiple connected devices throughout the cabin. It has an advanced dual-band router and dynamic data management tools meant to optimize bandwidth to deliver a consistent, high-quality user experience.

Customers can install a new AVANCE Gogo 5G system or upgrade their existing AVANCE system to include 5G capabilities at a domestic Textron Aviation Service Center. The aftermarket solution is now offered for:

The availability of the Gogo 5G system will expand to the Cessna Citation CJ4, CJ3+ and CJ3 once it receives the necessary STCs from the FAA.
