Hartzell Propeller expands Top Prop conversion program with over 150 additions

Hartzell Propeller has announced a major expansion to its Top Prop conversion program to provide greater access to high-performance propeller upgrades. The company states that it has added more than 150 propellers to the program, providing more competitive upgrade paths for both legacy and newer turbine aircraft. The program includes improved pricing and a warranty through the first overhaul, providing for operators focused on both performance and cost. The additions include STC and aftermarket propeller options in both aluminum and advanced carbon fiber designs. "The Top Prop conversion program continues to evolve based on feedback from the aircraft owners and operators we have worked with for decades," said Hartzell Propeller president JJ Frigge. "By enhancing the portfolio with more than 150 additional propeller models and improving pricing across the lineup, we have made it easier than ever for pilots to upgrade to Hartzell performance, backed by an industry-leading warranty through first overhaul." The expansion comes with an enhanced search experience. Users should now be able to identify compatible propellers by aircraft, engine, and model year. There is an option to filter by certification authority like the FAA, EASA and others. Hartzell claims the program is already delivering meaningful cost savings, with examples of average list price including:Cirrus 4-Blade Carbon Fiber Propellers: Average list price reduction of about 26% King Air 3 andamp; 4-Blade Type Certified Propellers: Average list price reduction of about 35% Air Tractor 3, 4 andamp; 5-Blade Type Certified Propellers: Average list price reduction of about 21%RELATED STORIES: Hartzell PowerUP S-1200 magnetos receives FAA parts manufacturer approval Hartzell Propeller and Blackhawk to expand performance and support solutions Hartzell Polaris Propeller available for Diamond aircraft after EASA certification In addition, Hartzell announced that it will share updates during the Innovation Preview at the Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo on April 13 at the Aerospace Pavilion at 4:00 pm.
