Bombardier announced the delivery of the first Global 8000 aircraft to its fleet launch customer, NetJets.
The delivery took place at Bombardier's Laurent Beaudoin Completion Centre. NetJets plans to build a fleet of 24 Global 8000 aircraft and will work with Bombardier to upgrade its Global 7500 fleet to Global 8000 jets. The private aviation company also has the option to grow its fleet with a series of options that can be used progressively in the upcoming years.

The company claims the Global 8000 is the world's fastest business aircraft, with a top speed of Mach 0.95. It has already received Transport Canada (TC) Type Certification on Nov. 5, 2025 and entered into service on Dec. 19, 2025. The aircraft has a range of 8,000 nautical miles, and what Bombardier says is the lowest cabin altitude in business aviation production of 2,691 feet at a cruise altitude of 41,000 feet. The company states that the low cabin altitude reduces the mental stress that comes with high-altitude travel. Bombardier also claims the Global 8000 is the only true four-zone business jet to offer a range of 8,000 nm.
