Avfuel Announces Leadership Team Advancements

Avfuel Corporation, a leading supplier of aviation fuel and services, announces staff advancements, promoting four of its executive leaders and forming a senior team of the company's top executives to collectively oversee enterprise-wide operations. As part of its long-term leadership advancement plan, Avfuel appointed C.R. Sincock, II to president while promoting Joel Hirst to executive vice president, Marci Ammerman to senior vice president of marketing and strategic planning, and Jonathan Boyle to vice president of sales for contract fuel and bulk fuel. Having joined the executive team full-time 18 years ago, Sincock—representing the second generation of this family-owned business—has played an integral role in shaping the company's strategy. In his role as president, Sincock provides executive leadership over Avfuel's operations and performance, guiding the company's priorities, financial health and customer-facing initiatives while supporting long-term growth and value creation for its partners. While Sincock oversees all aspects of the business as president, his primary focus areas include key business development and strategic partnership opportunities, merger and acquisition growth, supply and logistics, physical trading and risk management, financial strategy, and sustainable next-generation fuel solutions. With a people-first organizational structure, Sincock maintains and develops relationships with major customer and supplier groups. He plays an active role on numerous industry boards, including the NBAA Advisory Council, and serves on the boards of directors for NATA, AIRCO and Alder Renewables. Craig Sincock, chairman and CEO of Avfuel, and C.R.'s father, said, "It's a powerful moment. I feel immensely proud and excited about the future for Avfuel. Being a family run business—one with consistent leadership over the decades—helps preserve Avfuel's identity and sets us up for longevity. "It's one thing to build a company you love, it's another thing entirely to share it with your family. Avfuel may have been my career-defining opportunity, but it has always been part of C.R.'s life. He grew up in this industry, learning from our customers, team members and suppliers over the decades. That experience has put him in a prime position to lead the company forward as president." C.R. Sincock said, "While I've been part of the executive team for nearly two decades, stepping into the role of president is a meaningful responsibility. Avfuel has always been about long-term relationships, trust and people. I'm honored to continue building on that foundation alongside Craig and our senior team." Joel Hirst, with more than 32 years at Avfuel, plays a key role in advancing the company's strategic business objectives and operational effectiveness. As executive vice president, he oversees the entire company's critical business functions and operational initiatives on a daily basis. He also helps drive supply reliability, budget performance and new customer development across the organization. His leadership includes a broad focus on sales and supply efforts across all divisions, as well as key financial and operational initiatives. He also maintains a particular emphasis on Avfuel's quality assurance and equipment divisions. Marci Ammerman, with 38 years of experience at Avfuel, leads the company's marketing vision and strategic partner growth initiatives. Her work aligns brand, communications, execution and market intelligence with Avfuel's long-term business objectives. In her role, Ammerman drives strategic planning across the organization, developing action plans that advance key initiatives and support business planning, communications and company-wide programs. Jonathan Boyle uses his 16 years of experience with the company to lead two of Avfuel's major sales groups—contract fuel and bulk fuel sales—as well as all international business aviation sales. In this role, Boyle oversees sales strategy, team leadership and customer engagement across Avfuel's fuel programs. He works closely with FBOs, airports, operators and partners to deliver reliable fueling solutions and long-term value throughout Avfuel's global network. Along with these appointments, Avfuel established a senior team to provide shared oversight and collective input, ensuring a balanced perspective for both company and customer initiatives. This group works closely with Craig and C.R. to support day-to-day execution and long-range priorities. Along with Hirst, Ammerman and Boyle, this senior team includes: Mike Zultowski, senior vice president of finance and operations, Ron Cagle, vice president of credit, and Craig LaVigne, vice president of finance. "The appointments announced today have been months, if not years, in the making as we've gradually transitioned into new responsibilities," said C.R. Sincock. "By remaining a family-run business, we're able to support long-term growth while maintaining the culture and decision-making flexibility of a privately held operation. It better enables us to shape the company and the industry in the decades ahead." Craig Sincock said, "Our strength has never just been the products we sell; jet fuel is jet fuel. It's our people who make Avfuel succeed. "For the company and our partners, this announcement means stability and long-term vision. We didn't introduce any new faces to the company with this leadership advancement plan. That fact reflects the depth and continuity of Avfuel's leadership bench, built wholly from within. I'm fortunate to surround myself with some of the most dedicated, inspirational professionals in aviation. Together, we work daily to lead this incredible company into the next generation of aviation."
