Daher renews Airbus cabin outfitting contracts as A350 production ramps up

Daher is expanding its role in Airbus' widebody aircraft production after renewing long-term cabin outfitting contracts for the A350 and A330 programs, reinforcing its position on the aircraft manufacturer's final assembly lines in Toulouse, France, as production rates increase. Under the renewed agreements, Daher continues to support Airbus' long-haul jetliner programs with cabin installation and integration work. For the A350 program, Daher performs cabin outfitting services on approximately one out of every two aircraft assembled. The scope of work includes installation and assembly of cabin components, quality inspections, and technical support during final assembly, the company said. The contracts, renewed in October, align with Airbus' plans to increase A350 production to 12 aircraft per month by 2028 as demand for long-range widebody aircraft remains strong. Nearly 200 Daher employees are currently assigned to the A350 cabin outfitting program in Toulouse. The workforce is expected to grow to about 260 personnel by the end of 2026 to support the planned production ramp-up. Daher also renewed its long-standing contract supporting the A330 final assembly line, continuing a collaboration with Airbus that spans more than 30 years. The A330 work covers three cabin-related packages: sidewall panels, overhead stowage bins, and oxygen module integration. A team of about 45 Daher specialists supports production at a rate of four aircraft per month. Company officials said the renewed contracts underscore Daher's long-standing role in Airbus' widebody manufacturing operations and reflect confidence in its ability to scale alongside increasing production rates. "These renewals confirm Daher's strategic role and our ability to support the production ramp-up of long-haul aircraft programs," Cédric Eloy, the CEO of Daher Industrial Services, said in a statement. Airbus has been gradually increasing output across its widebody programs as airlines and leasing companies seek to modernize fleets and restore long-haul capacity. Daher also recently unveiled the latest version of its own TBM aircraft family, the single-engine TBM 980 turboprop, at its production facility in Tarbes, France. The new model features Garmin's third-generation G3000 PRIME avionics and updated cabin systems, with deliveries expected to begin this month.RELATED ARTICLES:Daher delivered 76 TBM 960 and Kodiak aircraft in 2025Daher announces latest version of the TBM family, the TBM 980, in FranceDaher Kodiak 900 aircraft receives Brazilian airworthiness certification
