ARGUS Analytics has released its October aircraft activity report and WINGX released its October business jet activity report.
Argus reports that flight activity increased by 5.3% compared to Oct. 2024 and increased by 4.4% compared to Sept. 2025. WingX reports that business jets had over 348,000 flights, following the trend of 2025 with a 5% increase compared to last year. The number of flights makes October the busiest month in 2025 for business aviation.
"October did not disappoint from a flight activity standpoint," said Travis Kuhn, Senior VP of Software at Argus. "This is traditionally the busiest month on the calendar and this October we recorded the 2nd busiest month on record. Demand continues to look strong across the board, with the exception of Large cabin Part 135 flying. We will continue to monitor that segment along with the upcoming Holiday season. Some of the strongest days on the calendar year for Part 135 activity will take place over the next 8 weeks and it will be a good barometer to see if our overall growth levels can continue to go higher."
North America had its second busiest month on record, with an increase of 4.3% compared to 2024 and 7.4% increase compared to September. October 2021 had 2.2% more activity. Fractional activity had the largest increase at 10.3%, while Part 91 and Part 135 had increases of 1.4% and 4.9% respectively. Aircraft categories were all positive as well, with Mid-size cabin jets having the largest increase at 6.2%. Business jet activity in North America increased by 4% compared to 2024.
