EAA honors five 2025 Halls of Fame inductees

The individuals were chosen for their great contributions to recreational aviation and were honored during a ceremony and dinner at the EAA Aviation Center. Vic Syracuse from Locust Grove, Georgia, was inducted into the EAA Homebuilders Hall of Fame. Mark Holliday from Athens, Tennessee, was entered into the Vintage Aircraft Association Hall of Fame and Dave Cronk from Moab, Utah, was entered into the EAA Ultralights Hall of Fame. Darrel Berry and Rob Holland were posthumously added to the Warbirds of America Hall of Fame and the International Aerobatic Club Hall of Fame, respectively. Additionally, Phil Myrkle from Oshkosh received the Henry Kimberly Leadership Award. The award recognizes Oshkosh residents for volunteer service to EAA. Myrkle is a long-time volunteer for the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh fly-in and the EAA Aviation Museum. EAA states that its Sport Aviation Halls of Fame are to honor the achievements of men and women in aviation who share the spirit of the association and its community. Those inducted are selected by peers for their great contributions to their respective areas of aviation.
