AutoFlight Aviation Technology unveiled on Saturday the world's first integrated sea-air eVTOL vertiport solution.
The Integrated Sea-Air Low-Altitude Economy Solution features a zero-carbon Water-based Green Vertiport (WGV) designed to extend eVTOL infrastructure across large bodies of water. It addresses challenges such as difficult site selection, slow deployment, and complex take-off and landing operations. The company publicly demonstrated its Integrated Sea-Air solution at Dianshan Lake in Kunshan. A 2-ton eVTOL successfully took off from the vertiport and a multi-aircraft flight demonstration performed live airdrop missions of supplies and life rafts. The vertiport is fully electric, with its landing deck covered in solar panels. The cabin acts as both a departure lounge and a technical room. It is compatible with AutoFlight's eVTOL models, including the White Shark, CarryAll and Prosperity models.

The company states that the availability of eVTOL infrastructure limits the growth of low-altitude economy flights and land-based vertiports take too much time. By using water surfaces, the solution introduces a model that can be rapidly deployed and has a minimal environmental impact. It claims that the solution supports energy platform maintenance, emergency rescue, high-frequency commuting, marine and aerial tourism, and mobile vertiport clusters.
