WingX and TRAQPak analytics report for global flight activity for July

The latest ARGUS TRAQPak and WingX business flight activity reports show that flight activity for the business aviation market remains strong worldwide. North American flight activity had been expected to increase by 1.8% from last year, but according to TRAQPak, it had an increase of 3.7%. WingX states that in week 31, the North American market outperformed the global market with 7% growth from 2024. Florida outperformed that trend in week 31, gaining 11% year over year after two weeks of recorded decreases in activity. Fractional aircraft activity increased since last year at 8.6% growth, with Part 91 having 3.7% yearly growth and Part 135 having 1.3%. Small cabin jets grew the most in activity, with a growth of 5.4% and midsize cabin jets had the smallest increase, with a growth of 1.4%"July activity continues to show a very strong market for business aviation in North America and beyond," said Travis Kuhn, senior vice president of software for ARGUS. "Normally, we see a slowdown in traditional business jet travel in August and we expect that again this year. We still expect activity to gain on a macro level but, when we correct for holiday impacts, we should see activity decline slightly in August. Overall, we look well-positioned for a busy fall and holiday season." Growth was still positive when compared to June, increasing 1.7%. Part 135 saw the largest increase at 2.1% growth, then Part 91 with 1.9% growth and finally, Fractional activity had 0.6% growth. The New England area had the most activity growth overall at an activity increase of 23.3%. The Caribbean region saw a decrease of 7.3% since June.While European activity increased, it has fallen behind the global market trend according to WingX. In week 31, it only grew 2% compared to week 31 in 2024 and it only grew 1.8% year over year. Italy had the greatest growth in week 31 at 6%. Turboprop and Small Cabin jets saw a decrease of 3.5% and 1.35% in activity since last year. Compared to June 2025, July had an increase of 5.7%.WingX reported business jet activity dropped by 2% outside of North America and Europe in week 31, while TRAQPak reported there was still activity growth for the whole month compared to 2024. The remaining regions of the world had a yearly growth of 5.5% but saw a decrease in activity of 2% when compared to June. Africa and South America did see growth in week 31 at 14% and 9% respectively.
