Falcon Technic completes 60-month maintenance inspection on Global Express XRS

Falcon Technic, a part of Alex Group Investment, announced the completion of a 60-month maintenance inspection at its MRO facility in Dubai. The base maintenance inspection covered everything on the company's Bombardier Global Express XRS, including structure, avionics, hydraulic systems and flight controls. Falcon discovered corrosion on the wing trailing edge and dry bay areas and did structural repairs during the inspection, as well as incorporated the latest service upgrades on the aircraft. A team of 8 engineers spent a total of 2,000 hours to complete the project. Before returning the aircraft, a test flight was performed to confirm its performance readiness. The flight crew reported that the aircraft completed the test with no issues.
