The 2025 National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Business Aviation Convention andamp; Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) will help professionals level-up their career aspirations with expert insights provided through an all-new lineup of Professional Development Program (PDP) courses.This year's NBAA-BACE PDP sessions are specifically focused on purpose-driven strategies for both workplace advancement and personal growth."In today's business aviation environment, people are increasingly expected to demonstrate strong leadership fundamentals," said Molly Hitch, director of educational development and engagement at NBAA. "The PDP courses offered before and after NBAA-BACE are led by big-picture thinkers dedicated to empowering participants with the knowledge and tools necessary for success."The following are among the experts featured in the 2025 NBAA-BACE PDP lineup:Leadership advisor and personal life coach at Moore Life Leadership Scott Moore, CAM, is presenting a two-day course - Aviation Leadership: Prepare Yourself for Takeoff. The session will cover the fundamentals of leadership, equipping participants with the tools needed to lead effectively within the aviation department and the broader organization. ServiceElements' Bob Hobbi and Lisa Archambeau, CAM will examine Leadership and Influencing Skills for Building High-Performing Teams, with a discussion of effective leadership and proactive team membership, learning strategies for driving change and identifying the key traits of high-performing teams. This course is only available for NBAA CAMs and NBAA Business Aviation Top 40 Under 40 recipients.Taking a look at HR in the Corporate Flight Department are Jetlaw LLC's Kent S. Jackson and Kali M. Hague. This course is designed for flight department managers and senior leaders, HR directors and professionals interested in understanding aviation's influence on human resources, managers and senior personnel at aircraft management companies and anyone seeking to enhance their management skills.Brint Smith from Alliant Aviation Insurance; David T. Norton from Shackelford, Mckinley and Norton; and Christa Hinckley from Fox Rothschild LLP are presenting a course on Organizational Risk Management, which gives participants practical skills to identify and manage risks, minimize exposure using established frameworks, align business aviation operations with the company's overall risk strategy, and apply risk management practices across the organization.Following NBAA-BACE, the Management Fundamentals for Flight Departments Workshop will be presented by AeronomX President Walter Kraujalis and provide flight department managers key information about safe operations, regulatory compliance, basic management practices, cost controls, planning for the future and more.Taking place Oct. 14-16, NBAA-BACE is the world's most powerful business aviation event of the year, showcasing the industry's latest innovations and services, and hosting the leaders who are shaping its future.
