The magazine launched in May, expanding the private jet charter and sales company into the luxury aviation media sector. Ross is on the cover of the debut issue, photographed in front of his custom jet.
The aircraft features a gloss black and pearl gold two-tone paint scheme, with the rapper's name lettered along the fuselage using dollar signs in place of the letter S. The words "Biggest Boss" appear on the backside of the engines as a hidden nod to the artist. The custom paint job was completed in 2023 by Duncan Aviation.Duncan Aviation Paint Detail Team Leader Adam Barry said in 2023 that he was proud of the team's hard work and time put in to the project.Ross said the G550's redesigned interior, similar to that of a G600, seats 17 to 18 passengers. The tail number, N33055, references the ZIP code and area code of Miami. The jet can fly 14 to 16 hours depending on weight, though Ross said he prefers shorter trips. He uses his G550 exclusively for personal use, family, and team members, with no plans to charter it. Ross said his decision to buy the aircraft followed years of flying commercial instead of chartering private jets.(Youtube/HauteLiving)
The jet is housed in what Ross described as one of the most exclusive hangars at Miami-Opa Locka Airport (OPF), adding that monthly costs can range from $50,000 to $100,000 depending on size and staff. The hangar also stores his collection of luxury vintage vehicles, arcade machines, bikes, and a bulletproof, temperature-controlled wine and champagne cellar.
