Subject: Runway 6L/24R Closure During Tower Closure Hours, Ref: LTA-RYN-3
- This serves as an important reminder regarding runway operations at Ryan Field (RYN) in Tucson, Arizona.
- Per the Southwest Chart Supplement, Runway 6L/24R is CLOSED when the control tower is not in operation (0300 - 1300Z).
- This closure is in place to ensure the safety of operations during non-towered hours. Airmen are advised to check current NOTAM's prior to operating at RYN and plan accordingly. During tower closure times, Runways 6R/24L and 15/33 will remain available for use and pilot controlled lighting is available for both of these runways.
