FAA Drone Safety Day
Celebrating safe skies through smarter drone use

The FAA invites the drone community to participate in Drone Safety Day on Saturday, April 26. Launched in 2019, this annual campaign highlights the importance of safe drone operations and best practices for both recreational and commercial flyers.
We encourage the public to get involved by hosting an event, creating online content or participating in an event. This national event encourages drone pilots and recreational flyers to “Fly RIGHT” by focusing on five key safety pillars:
Safety is a shared responsibility. Together, the FAA and the drone community can ensure our skies remain safe.
Visit our Drone Safety Day page for more information, to locate an event near you or to register your own.
