Ann Arbor Airport Runway 12-30 closed UAS Activity

The FAA will be at the airport next week to complete an aerial survey of the entire airport property using Drones on 10/21 and 10/22 at Ann Arbor Airport (ARB). 

Monday (October 21st) – FAA will be onsite in the morning setting ground control points throughout the airport property. Runway 12/30 is scheduled to be closed beginning at 11:00 am (local) until 6:00 pm (local), this closure end time may be modified based on the progress of the drone operations.

Tuesday (October 22nd) –  Both Runways 06/24 and 12/30 will be closed at 8:30 am (local).  Runway 06/24 is expected to reopen by 10:00 am (local).  Runway 12/30 will remain closed until 6:00 pm (local), this closure end time may be modified based on progress of the drone operations.

Drones will be flying approx. 400’ AGL.

Please actively check NOTAMs and plan flying activities accordingly.
