At the request of the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will issue a 99.7 “Special Security Instruction” Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) for Washington, D.C. area to provide appropriate security measures for the NATO Summit. The TFR will increase the Washington Special Flight Rules Area (SFRA) and Washington Metropolitan Flight Restricted Zone (FRZ) restrictions from July 9th to July 11th.
