Caldwell Executive Airport Closure

May 6, May 7, and May 8 Caldwell Executive Airport is scheduled to be CLOSED from 9:00 AM till 7:00 PM

Final Striping to Complete Project

The contractor that provided our crack-fill and seal coat project last year will be returning for three days the week of May 6th to place the final paint markings (with reflective beads) that will complete our Airport Improvement Program project.

The airport will be closed to to all vehicle movement inside the fence  including fixed wing aircraft takeoffs, landings, and taxiing as well as driving ground vehicles.

Rotorcraft operators must contact airport staff to discuss operational possibilities during the closure window.

We expect that the airport will be available for any and all normal operations outside the above time window. All aircraft must plan to arrive, depart, and taxi prior to 9:00 AM and after 7:00 PM on the specified days. Ground vehicles may also move in the tie-down and hangar areas as needed outside the work window.

Please Note: Placing the markings is dependent upon having a high enough temperature and low enough winds. Should one or both of those factors be out of spec, we will have to extend the project days or the contractor will circle back to Caldwell as fits in their schedule.

Keep your flying/airport plans as flexible as possible that week!
