Bombardier introduces comprehensive service program

Bombardier has introduced a new service program that covers cabin system components, landing gear overhaul, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and Mobile Response Team support. The Smart Services Elite program complements the existing Bombardier Smart Services portfolio, which provides customers with a comprehensive and effective cost-per-flight-hour program bringing budget predictability for essential aircraft parts and maintenance costs. Smart Services Elite provides customers with an OEM advantage, providing genuine Bombardier parts and comprehensive global network support. Over 1,600 Bombardier aircraft are currently enrolled in the Smart Services program and are representative of more than 10 million flight hours. The new program offers the ultimate cost-per-flight-hour option for customers to keep track of annual maintenance costs. Other elements in the new program include maintenance cost coverage on major components like aircraft systems components, both scheduled and unscheduled, and landing gear overhaul, parts shipping, technical support and publications, a guaranteed flight-hour rate through the term, and Mobile Response Team coverage. Some options from previous programs are included in Smart Services Elite, making the new program the most extensive maintenance cost coverage program. "Bombardier's Smart Services Elite is the ultimate ‘easy button' for our business jet customers when it comes to budget predictability and cost protection for all their maintenance needs," said Paul Sislian, Executive Vice President, Aftermarket Services andamp; Strategy, Bombardier. "With Smart Services Elite, customers receive additional peace of mind though added services not previously covered by existing cost-per-flight-hours offerings, providing them with a comprehensive solution for maintenance repair and support." Business jet customers can expect a complete and efficient cost-per-flight-hour maintenance option, which Bombardier said is inflation-proof. The yearly rate is flat and fixed at a competitive rate, meaning customers and operators will not have to play a guessing game when it comes to pricing. Smart Services Elite is also available for new buyers wanting to add a maintenance cost protection program at the time of purchase.
