Textron announced Monday that it had delivered the 100th flagship Cessna Citation Longitude business jet to a longtime customer. The occasion was celebrated at the company's headquarters in Wichita, Kansas.
The Cessna Citation Longitude is a super-midsize business jet designed, produced and delivered by Textron Aviation. The aircraft is designed around the pilot experience, passenger comfort and performance. The Citation Longitude delivers customers an aircraft that lives up to its designation as the flagship of the Citation business jet family. No other super-midsize business jet delivers more range, a greater payload or higher cruise speed at a lower direct operating cost.
The jet has a range of 3,500 nautical miles and a full fuel payload of 1,600 pounds. The Citation Longitude is designed to elevate passenger expectations in the super-midsize class through its delivery of a quiet cabin, low cabin altitude at 4,950 feet, more standard features and a bespoke interior. The interior has seating for up to 12 passengers including an optional crew jump seat. With a six-foot-tall flat-floor cabin and a double-club configuration, the Citation Longitude offers the most legroom in its class.
