Honda Aircraft launches aircraft management program to streamline ownership, maintenance

Honda Aircraft Company has introduced a new customer-centric service at NBAA-BACE following the debut of the HondaJet Echelon on Monday. Aircraft Management Services will provide a customer-focused service solution, designed to make the HondaJet ownership process easier and offer owners better control and level of predictability over maintenance demands.RELATED STORY:HondaJet Echelon unveiled at NBAA-BACE as a light jet that can perform like a midsize The HondaJet AMS program will offer a streamlined approach to managing aircraft maintenance and is overseen by the Honda Aircraft Company Customer Service Division. Aircraft management specialists from the company will guide, plan and schedule maintenance activities while prioritizing safety, dependability and value preservation. The HondaJet owners who enroll in the program will receive personalized maintenance management support customized to fit their specific aircraft and operational needs. Maintenance tasks will continue to be performed by an extensive and skilled HondaJet Authorized Service Center Network to ensure accessibility. The program is backed by Honda-trained technicians, quality Honda parts and expedited scheduling. The AMS program is expected to guarantee uninterrupted aircraft operations and optimize flight hours. The AMS program has AOG support with a dedicated, 24/7 maintenance manager. It includes upgrades and modifications and scheduling and tracking. There is value retention with scheduling for aircraft detailing, scheduled maintenance tracking and scheduling, unscheduled maintenance support, pilot services support, SB/AD compliance and consolidated billing. The program will be exclusive to the customers who are enrolled in the Flight Ready Service Plans and will be available for enrollment after the 2023 NBAA-BACE. Registration will begin with U.S.-based N-registered HondaJets. The worldwide HondaJet fleet is nearing 200,000 flight hours. The global fleet has grown to over 230 aircraft around the world. The company recently launched the Flexible Phased Maintenance program and expanded its service network to 21 locations. On Monday the company announced that the HondaJet 2600 concept, unveiled two years ago at NBAA-BACE, was officially rebranded as the Honda Echelon. A mockup of the new light jet is on display at the Henderson Executive Airport (HND) alongside the HondaJet Elite II. The AMS program announcement followed the Echelon debut from Monday with an announcement on Tuesday, the opening day of 2023 NBAA-BACE. "The AMS program elevates joy, confidence, and convenience for the HondaJet owners," said Luis Jimenez, the division director of customer service at Honda Aircraft Company. "At Honda Aircraft Company, our top priority remains customer satisfaction, a value that starts with your HondaJet purchase and extends throughout the life of the aircraft. The AMS program further solidifies this commitment as the HondaJet fleet continues to grow." 2023 NBAA-BACE CoverageAvfuel boosts SAF supply availability, introduces sustainable program for NBAA-BACEACJ TwoTwenty makes NBAA-BACE debut Cessna Citation CJ3 Gen2 announced at NBAA-BACE, Textron names first customerDaher celebrates 500th TBM 900-series deliveryBoeing to offer new buying process, interior options with new BBJ SelectHondaJet Echelon unveiled at NBAA-BACE as a light jet that can perform like a midsizeBombardier reveals EcoJet phase 2 testing progressFAA, NTSB leaders headlining panel at 2023 NBAA-BACEJSSI launches PartsHub at 2023 NBAA-BACE
