Top performers committing to EAA AirVenture 2024 air shows

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2024 will include some of the top air show performers in the world. The EAA shared some of the performers coming to the 71st fly-in convention this summer, including incredible aerobatic champions and longtime favorites. The annual convention, scheduled for July 22-28 at the Wittman Regional Airport, includes nine airshows over seven days. The week even features two night air shows, on July 24 and 27. The afternoon air shows are presented by Daher and Pratt andamp; Whitney and the night air shows are presented by Covington Aircraft and PenFed.RELATED STORIES:Why are air show performer announcements made in December?Countdown to Sun 'n Fun - what to expect at the 50th anniversary fly-in The list of performers is shaping up to be an incredible group of sky-high talent. Performers named so far include Vicky Benzing in a P-51, Kyle Franklin in a Super Cub, RJ Gritter in a Decathalon, Lee Lauderback in a P-51, Skip Stewart in a Prometheus 2, the Titan Aerobatic team flying T-6s, Patty Wagstaff in an Extra 330SC, Nathan Hammond in the Super Chipmunk and the Red Bull Air Force. The current list will continue to grow in the coming months. More performers will be announced, including only-in-Oshkosh performers and aircraft. The exact days of performances and complete air show lineups will be announced as they are finalized. "Whether it's during the afternoon or night air shows at Oshkosh, the performers who fly here are headliners who are among the best in the world," said Rick Larsen, EAA's VP of communities and member programs. "The air show community knows that the AirVenture crowds are the most knowledgeable anywhere, and appreciate the skill and precision necessary to fly these aircraft to the edge. That brings out the best in these pilots and creates unforgettable memories every year at Oshkosh."
