On Friday Daher announced the deliveries of 74 aircraft from the TBM and Kodiak single-engine turboprop product line in 2023 with orders for another 100 aircraft to be delivered in 2024 and into early 2025.
In 2023, Daher deliveries were led by 56 efficient and fast TBM family planes in the TBM 960 and TBM 910 models, as well as 18 Kodiak 100s/Kodiak 900s provided to customers and operators during the 12 months.
Most of the TBMs delivered in 2023 were the TBM 960 version and the largest percentage has again gone to the North American market with 43 deliveries in the U.S. and two in Canada. Three TBMs were delivered to customers in Latin America, with one in Brazil, one in Mexico and one in Bolivia. The European demand remained steady with steady deliveries. In 2023 three aircraft were delivered in Germany, two in France and two in the UK. Daher also registered a delivery to a new customer in central Asia.RELATED STORIES:Daher delivers 100th TBM 960 to first-time ownerDaher celebrates 500th TBM 900-series deliveryDaher delivers first Kodiak 100 equipped with 5-blade composite propeller
The 2023 Kodiak deliveries involved two production versions: the Kodiak 100 Series III, now offered with a five-blade composite propeller as a standard to reduce noise and enhance performance; and the bigger, faster Kodiak 900 that was introduced in 2022. The 18 Kodiak provided in 2023 were delivered to both private owners and multi-mission operators and North America led the market overall. The deliveries in 2023 also saw a new customer with the North Carolina Forest Service's Aviation Division.
By Dec. 31, 2023 a total of 1,187 TBM and 339 Kodiak aircraft had been delivered to owners and operators around the world. The global fleet has accumulated nearly three million flight hours. The fleet is supported by Daher's global support network, which has merged into a single entity called TBM andamp; Kodiak Care.
"These figures reflect the market's stabilization as we continue to see a strong demand for TBM and Kodiak aircraft, although challenges persist in affecting our industry - including employment and supply chain issues," Daher Aircraft Division Senior VP Nicolas Chabbert said. "There have been efforts made to address these difficulties and improve the situation. We are seeing the results of our solutions in the employment field through internal training and the attraction of new talent. For the supply chain, the importance of delivering on time will enable us to continue seeking opportunities in a strong market."
