Reading Aviation launches FBO services at RDG

Reading Regional Airport/General Carl A. Spaartz Field (RDG) is now the sole FBO on the field after merging the two prior operations into a singular authority-run unit. Now the singular FBO operates as Reading Aviation. The FBO is located next to the main terminal on the airfield's east apron, giving the flying public convenient access from all directions. "The Reading Regional Airport Authority is proud to now oversee the operation of KRDG's FBO," Airport Director Zackary Tempesco said. "In doing so, we're able to better serve as a gateway for a growing part of southeastern Pennsylvania. With a leadership team of forward-thinkers, this operational move will help the authority fulfill its mission to elevate and promote our community's economic growth, education and connectivity." The FBO has an 18,000-square-foot building that previously housed Millennium Aviation, offering guests amenities like comfortable passenger and pilot lounges with 1,000 square feet of office space, an on-site restaurant and a conference room for 10-16 with full A/V capabilities. Reading Aviation controls 70,000-square-feet of hangar space and can accommodate aircraft up to a Falcon 900. The facilities will undergo a rebrand and refresh in the next two years to include updated facilities, additional conference space, snooze rooms and day offices. Reading Aviation is a full-service FBO and provides aviators with jet A and 100LL avgas, quick-turn services, towing, cargo handling, planeside access, parking, de-icing, GPU, lac service, potable water, maintenance and detailing. Travelers can also enjoy the benefits of rental cars, crew cars, shuttle services, catering, dishwashing, laundry, coffee, ice Wi-Fi and vending. The FBO's expansive services support a wide customer base, including the military, corporate and business aviation, air charter, training, aerial inspection and pipeline patrol, and recreational flights. Along with the opening, Reading Aviation has elected to partner with branded fuel supplier Avfuel Corporation, the leading independent supplier of aviation fuel and services. With the partnership, Reading Aviation customers can gain access to competitive fuel prices with Avfuel Contract Fuel, lucrative rewards with AVTRIP and streamlined payment with the Avfuel Pro Card, the FBO's pr3eferred payment method. The partnership also allows access to the FAA-approved Avfuel Training System.
