Signature unveils new facility in Key West

Signature Aviation announced the opening of a new facility at Key West International Airport (EYW) on Monday. The recent unveiling is indicative of Signature's position as the gateway for private aviation in the southernmost city in the contiguous United States. Guests enjoy the mix of modern design and enriching amenities in one of the premier travel destinations in Florida. The newly built terminal will seamlessly integrate into the Key West community. The facility was designed to create an environment to embody Signature's approach to creating a precise, safe and exceptional experience for guests. An official motto in the area says "One Human Family," and Signature's new location, amenities and guest experience evoke the same connection, warmth and shared experience beloved by the residents and travelers in Key West. The facility is only a few miles from the city center. The 4,500-square-foot guest terminal is a blend of modern design elements and functional space, serving the needs of travelers and the Key West community. The new terminal adds 3,300 square feet of additional space compared to the previous facility and delivers extra accommodation for larger guest parties. Signature Key West-specific designs include an elevated main terminal area and a covered parking area underneath. A second-story patio is next to the main terminal and provides guests with an opportunity to enjoy the scenic views, climate and natural beauty of the area. Other amenities include a pilot's lounge with spacious seating for entertainment and relaxation, as well as work areas for business needs. There are two quiet rooms for guests to recharge before or after traveling. A new café is stocked with Lavazza signature coffee roasts, opening up to the scenic views at the Key West International Airport. Signature will unveil updates to facilities in New Orleans and Raleigh-Durham in the coming months. At the start of 2024, Signature announced it had acquired the award-winning private aviation company Meridian, with bases in Teterboro Airport (TEB) in New Jersey and the Hayward Executive Airport (HWD) in California.RELATED STORY:Signature Aviation acquires Meridian "We are delighted to see our vision for the new Signature Key West come to life in a way that pays tribute to such a vibrant community," Signature Aviation CEO Tony Lefebvre said. "The design, amenities, and expanded space will create the perfect environment for our team members to deliver a warm and inviting experience for every guest."
