Air Traffic Bulletin:
Due to the anticipated increase in the volume of air traffic surrounding the period of the eclipse, please be aware of the following information:
- Check the published NOTAMs for any changes or unique procedures. Several types of operations may be prohibited or restricted during this event.
- VFR flight following, airborne IFR pickups and other VFR services to aircraft may not be available.
- VFR advisory service with approach controls will be on a workload permitting basis.
- Air Traffic facilities may not provide ATC Services for Practice Approaches during peak traffic periods.
- Solo flights and student training are encouraged to be completed 3 hours prior to the eclipse.
- Check for NOTAM updates and airport availability.
