AEROPAR TO INTRODUCE TWO AW109 TREKKER HELICOPTERS MARKING LEONARDO’S ENTRANCE INTO PARAGUAY’S ROTORCRAFT MARKET

Asunción, 21 March 2026 - Private company Aeropar, of Paraguay, has procured two AW109 Trekker light twin helicopters to perform utility transport missions starting in 2028, marking the entrance of Leonardo helicopters into the country’s rotorcraft market. An announcement was made on 16 March at the International Airport of Asunción, in the presence of representatives from institutions and industry.

SLOANE HELICOPTERS GROWS LEONARDO AW109 VIP ORDERBOOK CONFIRMING TYPE’S LEADERSHIP IN UK AND IRELAND WITH PURCHASE OIF THREE MORE TREKKERS

Leonardo’s long established regional helicopter distributor for UK and Ireland Sloane Helicopters (Sloane) announced the signing for three more AW109 Trekker light twin engine helicopters at EBACE 2025 (Geneva, 20-22 May). The delivery of these VIP-configured aircraft are expected to be carried out in 2027 and add to five AW109 GrandNews ordered in March this year.
