TUCSON, ARIZONA - June 11, 2026 – Universal Avionics (UA) - today announced that GFD GmbH (GFD), an Airbus company, has selected the InSight Flight Display System to modify its Learjet 35A/36A aircraft fleet. Scandinavian Avionics A/S (ScanAv) will develop the STC and install the flight deck upgrade. This upgrade aims to bring GFD’s aircraft to a common avionics standard by replacing a large array of cockpit instruments, which reintroduces sustainability and support for the lifecycle of the aircraft for key avionics equipment, while introducing new integrated capabilities for their core services of aerial target demonstrations.

Avincis, Europe’s largest emergency aerial services operator, and Airbus Helicopters have signed a contract for up to 15 H145 helicopters. The new aircraft will be deployed across Avincis’ extensive network, strengthening its operational presence in the Nordics, Italy, and Spain for Helicopter Emergency Medical Services and other mission segments like offshore transportation.

In the framework of a fleet modernisation and reinforcement plan aimed at meeting a long-term rescue and offshore transport growth strategy, leading emergency aerial service provider Avincis announced orders for 15 Leonardo helicopters, including 10 AW169 light intermediate and 5 AW139 intermediate twin engine aircraft. These helicopters are expected to be delivered over the 2028-2031 period, sustaining the existing customer base as well as allowing to enter new markets across Europe.
