Aviation Programs at the School of Transportation requires temporary Faculty members (up to 100%
FTE) at our
Aerospace Technology Campus in Richmond to teach in the Transport Canada approved curriculum for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Category ‘M’ (Maintenance), Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Category ‘E’ (Electronics), and Aircraft Gas Turbine Technician programs.
Please note: Appointments will be of varying durations, providing temporary coverage for both pre-scheduled and unplanned absences for full-time, permanent faculty.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teaching, evaluation, and preparation for both online remote delivery and in-person delivery of theory, and in-person delivery of shop activities.
- Administrative responsibilities, assignments, and student evaluation.
- Curriculum maintenance and program enhancement.
- Administrative processes required to ensure appropriate resources are in place to deliver services.
- Working collaboratively with other instructors, Department Heads, and Associate Dean.
- Other duties directly related to the support and delivery of the programs.
Salary Range: $78,133 - $115,805 per annum.
Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment.
